"Psychedelic drugs are poised to be the next major breakthrough in mental health care."
- Scientific American, Aug 14, 2014
The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a non-profit research and educational organization that is working on novel approaches to some of the worlds most challenging mental health issues. Our current focus is developing MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of chronic PTSD. Future research will explore the use of this therapy for other treatment-resistant conditions, including anxiety related to autism and fear of death, and other conditions associated with depression, suicide, and addictions.
